HEAL

Do you feel like sometimes your eating is out of control? Are you dealing with binge eating, emotional eating or stress eating? This program offers effective techniques to help you build a new relationship with food. You will finally make peace with food, stop restriction, & learn how to eat mindfully and intuitively. You’ll learn new skills to cope with your emotions that don’t involve eating and finally start building a positive body image.

BALANCE

The next step is to help you lose weight in a healthy and enjoyable way. We will work through any obstacles to weight loss you may have had in the past and build new habits together. You will start to include exercise in your routine, not because you have to, but for it makes you feel. Balance is the key for this part of the program: There is a way you can focus on your health, lose weight and still eat intuitively and without restriction!

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Nutrition Coach, so apart from providing you with qualified nutritional advice, I work with techniques based on CBT and DBT to address the psychological side of eating.

The program includes 2 modules, that focus on healing your relationship with food and finding a new balance in your life to help you stop binge eating and still lose weight (if that is your goal). We decide together with each client, which module is most appropriate for them and adapt it to their individual needs and preferences.

During our coaching sessions, you’ll realize that it is possible to overcome over-eating and stress eating, that binge eating can be unlearned and that you don’t have to live in a bad relationship with your body forever. We will look at your eating habits together and practice essential skills you need finally break out of the dieting-binge-eating cycle.

The second part of this coaching program is dedicated to making small changes in your daily habits that will help you achieve sustainable weight loss without feeling deprived. Finally, to make your results last over time, we practice how you can always listen to what your body needs and focus on improving your health as a long term goal, instead of going after the quick fix. It is my ultimate goal to help you make health a part of life without it determining your whole life.

Have you been diagnosed with bulimia nervosa or binge eating disorder? This coaching program includes elements of CBT and DBT, some of the most effective treatment options for eating disorders.

This will depend on your goals, the time you can dedicate between sessions to practice new skills and implement changes, the support systems you have in place and where your relationship with food currently stands. During the initial consultation, you can decide if you want to purchase single sessions or packs of 4 sessions at a discounted price.

It depends. If you are currently struggling with binge eating or are recovering from an eating disorder, we will work first on transforming your relationship with food, before we get to the weight loss and the weight maintenance phase. This is because dieting inherently involves restriction, and when clients try to restrict their eating it often sets them up to binge more. After they have successfully overcome any issues related to mindset, emotional eating, binge eating etc. many clients actually lose weight unintentionally. If you still want to lose more weight/keep improving your health, we will move to the next part of the program, which focuses on making small changes in your daily habits, in order for you to lose weight in a healthy and enjoyable way.

I hold two master’s degrees, one in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy and another in Cognitive Behavorial Psychology. Apart from that, I am Precision Nutrition L1 certified in exercise nutrition. 

No, but I will walk you through how to make one for yourself step by step, if you feel like a meal plan would make your life easier. This way you can use this skill for the rest of your life. I also don’t provide any detailed workout programs.
